Job description

REPSCO is recruiting for one of its clients, a global biopharmaceutical company committed to bringing biosimilar drugs to market, a Key Account Manager M/F (or Business Access Manager - Key Account Managers M/F) following the recent launch of a highly anticipated monoclonal antibody product in the field of rare diseases in nephrology (particularly HPN and aHUS):

Main responsibilities:

  • Drive commercial activities: Manage commercial activities (manage tenders with buyers and public/private clients; discussions with specialist doctors in rare diseases...)

  • Stakeholder interaction: Collaborate with hospital stakeholders (specialized pharmacists in high-cost drugs, doctors, clinicians, healthcare teams, hospital managers) to promote the adoption of biosimilar products, offering value-added products while improving patient access and support.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure decision-makers have all the necessary information for optimal adoption and prescription.

  • Market positioning: Establish the company as a trusted partner in the biosimilars/biologics market.

  • Data collection: Gather and communicate relevant information such as competitor data, treatment regimens, and product prescription criteria.

Sales growth: Ensure sales growth and market share achievement.

Job requirements

  • Pharmaceutical experience: Previous experience in managing key accounts (Key Account Manager - KAM), managing tenders, and follow-up with pharmacists and doctors in hospitals is required.

  • Specialized knowledge: Ideally, candidates will have experience in nephrological diseases, (experience with HPN, aHUS, or complement inhibitors is particularly valuable), rheumatological and/or oncological. Candidates with experience in hospital biosimilars and/or rare diseases are also encouraged to apply.

  • Education: Life sciences (e.g. pharmacy, biomedicine, medicine and public health), Master's or Bachelor's degree in business administration, health economics or equivalent. Medical Sales Diploma (or equivalent). Knowledge in health economics would be an additional point.

  • Sales experience: At least 3 to 5 years in a pharmaceutical sales role based in France, dealing with specialized client groups at the hospital level.

  • Relationship building: Proven ability to establish and manage strong relationships with external and internal clients, with a track record of developing impactful business partnerships.

  • Team player: Excellent team player with resilience, leadership qualities, and collaboration skills.

  • Innovative thinking: Entrepreneurial attitude, creative and innovative thinker with excellent presentation and influencing skills.

  • Fluency in French and English is essential

  • Travel: Willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory.

  • Driver's license required.
